ON QUASILINEAR ELLIPTIC SYSTEMS INVOLVING MULTIPLE CRITICAL EXPONENTS
In this paper, we consider the existence of a non-trivial weaksolution to a quasilinear elliptic system involving critical Hardyexponents. The main issue of the paper is to understand thebehavior of these Palais-Smale sequences. Indeed, the principaldifficulty here is that there is an asymptotic competition betweenthe energy functional carried by the critical nonlinearities. Thenby the variatio...
متن کاملSome estimates and maximum principles for weakly coupled systems of elliptic PDE
with λ|ξ|2 ≤ ∑ aijξiξj ≤ Λ|ξ|2, ξ ∈ R , for some 0 < λ ≤ Λ. Studying such systems is an object of ever increasing interest in recent years. The most important reason is that whenever one wants to study a nonlinear system of elliptic PDE’s (such systems are abundant in all areas of applications) a first step often is gaining some knowledge on its linearized system, which is in the form (1). Furt...

* Correspondence: shiny0320@163. com Department of Mathematics and Information Science, Zhangzhou Normal University, Zhangzhou 363000, Fujian, China Full list of author information is available at the end of the article Abstract We consider boundary regularity for weak solutions of second-order quasilinear elliptic systems under controllable growth condition, and obtain a general criterion for ...
متن کاملNew Maximum Principles for Linear Elliptic Equations
We prove extensions of the estimates of Aleksandrov and Bakel′man for linear elliptic operators in Euclidean space R to inhomogeneous terms in L spaces for q < n. Our estimates depend on restrictions on the ellipticity of the operators determined by certain subcones of the positive cone. We also consider some applications to local pointwise and L estimates.
متن کاملMaximum principles for elliptic dynamic equations
We consider second order partial dynamic operators of the elliptic type on time scales. We establish basic maximum principles and apply them to obtain the uniqueness of Dirichlet boundary value problems for dynamic elliptic equations, eg Poisson equation. Our special cases include the situation in which several variables are continuous and the other discrete. We conclude with open problems, we ...
